ABORDAGENS TERAPÊUTICAS NA REABILITAÇÃO DA MARCHA DE PACIENTES COM DIAGNÓSTICO DE DOENÇA DE PARKINSON
UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Abstract
Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that severely
impacts gait and the quality of life of affected individuals. This study aimed to
systematically review therapeutic approaches for gait rehabilitation in PD patients. The
research was conducted using scientific databases and followed the PRISMA protocol.
The results indicate that interventions such as specific gait training, the use of vibrotactile
devices, visual and auditory sensory cues, and physiotherapy techniques showed
significant potential in improving gait performance, enhancing motor control, and
reducing gait-related difficulties. Multidisciplinary intervention proved to be essential, as
the combination of these therapeutic approaches resulted in considerable improvements
in patients’ mobility. The findings suggest that integrated therapies can optimize gait
rehabilitation, contributing to the maintenance of functionality and independence in
individuals with PD.
