TREINAMENTO DE PAIS NA ABA
Como familiares podem aplicar estratégias aba no dia a dia
Abstract
This study investigated the effectiveness of parent training in the application of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques for the development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Based on a literature review, it was possible to identify that parent training results in significant improvements in children's behavior, including the reduction of challenging behaviors, reinforcement of social skills, increased communication, and better academic and functional performance. In addition, the study highlighted the importance of structured learning provided by ABA techniques, which contributes to more effective learning both at home and in the school environment. Although the results are largely positive, it was identified that consistency in the application of techniques and continuous monitoring by qualified professionals are fundamental to the success of the process. The challenges faced, such as lack of time, resources, and the complexity of the process, can be overcome with continuous support and personalized training, allowing families to feel more confident and empowered in the application of ABA strategies. Personalized training and flexibility in approaches are essential to maximize the benefits of this intervention. It is concluded that training parents in the application of ABA is an effective strategy to promote the development of children with ASD. Continuity of support and adaptation of interventions to the specific needs of each family are essential to ensure long-term effectiveness, offering better results in the development of children and strengthening the role of parents as active agents in the therapeutic process.
