A ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA PROMOÇÃO DO LETRAMENTO EM SAÚDE PARA PACIENTES HIPERTENSOS E DIABÉTICOS ACOMPANHADOS PELO PROGRAMA HIPERDIA NA UBS
Uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura
Abstract
This integrative review examined nurses' role in promoting health literacy for hypertensive and diabetic patients in the HIPERDIA Program within Primary Care. Ten articles published between 2022-2024 were included, identified in BVS and CAPES Periodicals databases. Results revealed four strategic action axes: personalized individual interventions, educational group activities, digital technologies utilization, and therapeutic bond establishment. The analysis demonstrated that integrated approaches combining these axes enhance health literacy development at functional, interactive, and critical levels, resulting in better treatment adherence, more effective metabolic control, and reduced complications. It is concluded that nurses play a fundamental role as health educators, requiring continuous training and work process adaptation to implement effective educational strategies that promote autonomy and empowerment of chronic patients.
